According to Football Insider, West Ham United have made a £30m loan-to-buy offer for AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek.
The 24-year-old’s future at the San Siro has been the subject of a lot of discussion since the winter transfer window opened at the start of the month.
Football Insider claim that West Ham are now very much in the race for the centre-forward having offered to loan him for the remainder of the season before potentially completing a £30m move in this summer’s transfer window.
As expected, the transfer claim has caught the attention of the club’s fans and many have taken to social media to react to the suggestion.
Some are keen for the deal to go through before the end of the month.

Others, though, do not believe the transfer report and have laughed off suggestions that the Poland international, who has only scored four Serie A goals this term, could move to the London Stadium.
One supporter, meanwhile, referenced Simone Zaza when reacting to the claim. The 28-year-old joined West Ham on loan in August 2016 with the view to completing a permanent move the following summer; it never happened, though, and he left having failed to score in 11 appearances for the Premier League club.
Meanwhile, a number of West Ham fans have been reacting to a suggestion that this player could leave the London Stadium in the near future.
