Liverpool took part in a great cause on Sunday.
Their second friendly game of the 2019 summer pre-season saw them face off against Bradford City – a game which they won 3-1 – but it was more than just an exhibition match.
The bigger goal of the game was to raise funds for the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation – a foundation formed by the ex-Reds and Bradford defender Stephen Darby following his retirement from professional football just last September.
Darby was unfortunately diagnosed with his MND and Jurgen Klopp’s troops were kind enough to take part in this great cause.
James Milner was among the stars of the day, as the 33-year-old midfielder bagged two goals before Rhian Brewster slotted in the third for a convincing win.
The Englishman took to

Georginio Wijnaldum and Ian Rush were just some of the big names commending Milner for both his stellar performance and the great message the Reds are sending to the public.
Milner also did a post-match interview, talking at length about the importance of the cause and also about Darby’s resilience in these tough times.
