Chelsea are pressing ahead with their summer overhaul as talks advance to offload three midfielders deemed surplus to requirements. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Lesley Ugochukwu and Carney Chukwuemeka are all closing in on exits, with Everton, Burnley and Borussia Dortmund the likely destinations in yet another busy window at Stamford Bridge after Club World Cup success.

Chelsea are finalising deals to sell Ugochukwu to Burnley, Dewsbury-Hall to Everton and Chukwuemeka to Borussia Dortmund. The trio struggled for regular minutes last season and are no longer part of Enzo Maresca’s long-term plans. While the deals for the former two players are almost completed, as per Fabrizio Romano, Chukwuemeka's move may still take a few weeks.

Chelsea have spent over £243m this summer and are looking to balance the books. The three midfielders reportedly cost the club more than £50m combined but have had a limited impact at Stamford Bridge. Their sales could help fund new arrivals like Xavi Simons or Alejandro Garnacho.

Ugochukwu made just three league starts and spent time on loan at Southampton. Dewsbury-Hall joined from Leicester last summer but struggled to break into the side despite his £30m fee. Chukwuemeka is keen to return to Dortmund and Chelsea are open to selling for around €25m.

All three deals are expected to be completed soon as Chelsea push to finalise their outgoings. The Blues are also working on potential new signings before the window closes. More squad reshuffling is likely under Maresca as he reshapes the team to his vision.
