Jose Mourinho has coached a lot of players throughout the years. With a career that’s spanned three of Europe’s traditional ‘big five’ divisions and the Portuguese top tier, ‘The Special One’ has a whole army of top quality ex-players to his name, which makes it hard to read into transfer rumours linking him with these former charges.

Is it just joining the dots? Is it wild speculation? Does it make sense? Well, the latest to have been aligned with an emotional reunion is Willian, who recently confessed that the Red Devils were an option for him during the summer before he elected to stay at Chelsea and (probably) win another league title.
That ticks the box of whether or not there is some truth in the Daily Star’s report that he remains a summer target, so we put the question out there to the Old Trafford faithful: Do you want Mourinho to sign Willian?
Well the results are in, and although it’s a narrow margin of victory, 56% want the Brazilian in Manchester. It’s quite easy to see why, too, with the former Shakhtar Donetsk man a tireless worker and tactically switched on, which he combines with great technique.
It seems unlikely that Chelsea will sell to Man United, but the fans want it to happen…
